Its origin, in 2003, was none other than the confluence in time and a common feeling for the proper development of land use and the territory of a group of professors from three different university departments, whose problems came approaching from their respective academic fields (law, Economics, Geography). Since then, its members bring together their collective activity in research and knowledge transfer with proposals for action multidisciplinary approach, fully aware of the need to incorporate new research methodologies in the field of urban and territorial sustainability, thus contributing to strengthening soundness of their work.


  • Study and Consulting on those relating to town planning, land use, environmental, cultural and natural heritage legal and social aspects, and in general, activities that are necessarily linked to the urban and territorial sustainability.
  • Organization of meetings, conferences and other forums for discussion and dissemination of knowledge.
  • Development of training activities in the areas constituting the research group.
